Need a buddy!!!

Why is it that it is so hard to stay motivated? Why is it so hard to find someone that you can count on to help motivate and encourage you (each other)?

I really wish that I had someone that would work out with me and help encourage me throughout the day on my (our) weightloss. You would think that it would be pretty easy to do. I mean I live in a big city, I attend church, I am a member of a professional organizations, and I work with other women. What more is there?? However, it just seems impossible to find someone to help.

Work is picking up and I am working longer hours. My oldest son will start school this week so I will have to get him up early and ready for school. So things are really getting busy and it is getting harder and harder to find the time. I am struggling about going a gym because I am not sure how committed I will be. I don't like going to the gym alone. I am bored walking on the treadmill and using the other cardio machines. I would rather walk outside or ride my bike outside. I have plenty of workout videos at home that I can do, just no motivation. After getting home from work, cooking dinner, doing homework (now), bathing the boys, and then getting them ready for bed, the last thing that I want to do is workout!! Once that is done, all I want to do is spend some time with my hubby and watch tv.

I was (at one point) getting up early and working out but now it will have to be much earlier, since I will have to take my son to school. I know once it cools off, I will be able to walk during lunch and in the evenings. I want to start riding my bike (again) when it cools off in the evenings.

I know that it is all about committment and determination. I use to keep track of everything that I eat. Well I no longer do that and I don't know how to get it back!!! I guess I need to focus on one at a time and do it in baby steps!!
