Hello. I'm a new CNA and I CAN"T find a job.

Hi everyone.  I just became a CNA in the beginning of December and I have no luck finding a job.  I live in NY and I have applied to every nursing home, hosptial, group home, assisted living facility, ect.  I don't know what else to do.  I paid $1,200 for this course.  Any suggestions?

Wow. I am really sorry. Have you been interviewed? If you have been interviewed, I would call and ask if they could give you some pointers on what you did wrong or why you weren't selected...I don't know if they will help, but maybe?

I would just keep searching...maybe post an ad in the newspaper? Good luck on your job search...you could always move to Northern Michigan where places will practically fight for you!

dont know if you've found a job yet, but if you have a car that you use everyday, apply at a home health care agency.
