Well, I got mine done when I was 18 then I took them out because one of my bf's didn't like them. Then I got them redone. Big mistake, it hurt so bad. I have had many piercings, but I took most of them out when I found out I was pregnant. Anyway, the first time I got them pierced it hurt for maybe 5 min. then it really didn't. I have to say though that my tattoo on my lower back hurt 10x's worse. After having them done though my nipple were so sensitive.

I just had mine done last night, and good lord they hurt today.  It hurt when the guy pierced them last night for a few hours, and then when I would brush up against my arm or something in my sleep last night.  But overall it does'nt hurt near as bad as i expected.  I cannot wait for them to heal(neither can hubby, lol).

it did make mine for a while, but then it went to where it wasn't sensitive at all-I'm glad I only got one done

I've been told that if your nipples aren't pierced right then you can lose feeling in them forever .... has anyone else heard of that?

I had heard that but do not know if it is true.  I tell you what though right about now, I think I would accept that and lose feeling in them forever, lol.  I am joking, but I am still pretty sore.

I have heard that, but my first set of nipple piercings were crooked and I didn't lose feeling in them. When I got them done the second time she told me that whoever did them last did it completely wrong. Well, in conclusion I still have feeling in my nipples. The pain should decrese in the next couple of days. Atleast it did when I had mine done.

I have really thought about getting my nipples done for the past 2 years lol but the whole pain thing gets me. I mean I have 7 tats and I love getting those done but piercings are a different kind of pain to me. Like when I got my industrial piercing done in my left ear, that hurt like a bitch, excuse my language. So whats the pain factor on nipple piercings? Does it hurt getting it pierced or more so afterwards?

I have had my nipples pierced now for 6yrs. When I first got them pierced the pain was bad for about 1wk . then all got better. I still have the same sensation I had on my nipples before I had them pierced and there is no numbness here. I am getting 2 more piercings. One more on each nipple soon.
