Weaning Help

I am breastfeeding my 2 year old and TTC. I would like to wean her at least before the next baby comes. Does anyone have any advice for weaning a 2 year old? I thought at her age she would slow down a bit but it seems like she still wants it for everthing (food and comfort). I would at least like to get it down to once a day. Any advice would be great. Thanks for reading.

Maybe set a timer?  My 2 year old responded  well to that.  I nurse at the computer so I use:

Then I would think you could cut back time and maybe eventually distract with food/drink/cuddles/play.  (I did it because I couldn't handle unlimited nursing after I had the baby (physically) so I could give her a 2 min warning.)

My 2 and 3 year old weaned during pregnancy when my supply dropped.  :(  It is the easiest way, I think.  I had hoped to keep the 2 year old going, but he isn't interested now that the baby is here.
