I read the other post about nursing and miscarriages and it made me feel better. Ian 7 weeks pregnant and I am nursing my almost 14 month old. I have been having period like cramps when nursing and was getting a bit worried.

How many of you experienced cramping while nursing? Did it last the whole pregnancy? Anything to watch for?

Thanks!

I had it at times when I was nursing my daughter.  They never continued long after I finished nursing.  For me - I think I would be nervous if they didn't stop after she finished.

I had a little cramping in the first trimester with my second. From what I've heard it's fairly common. But Talk to your dr or mw if you are concerned.
