Hello ladies, I just was wondering how many of you have hit 35ish and have found that you are in question about how in the heck you got here.  How many of you question where your life is now and where it is heading?  How many of you look back and think hmm maybe I should have taken that turn, but find it's too late to back up?  I was just curious as I find myself going through this so much lately and it is kind of frustrating feeling like I am out here alone going through these thoughts and feelings.

Share with us, how are you feeling in your mid 30's.

I'm feeling that way now! Partly because I moved to a new State where no one knows me.. Before I was "known" and it was established who I was, etc. I had tons of Friends and Aquantances and met more People through them.. I was "age less" there too.. Here I feel "old". I have never moved and had to seek out  Peers in an older group.. I was always Young and Fun even when I hit 30's.. Now that I have a Child and am Married I have a new Identity... ( so to speak)... With that said I have started to come to terms with all the Mistakes I have made and sadly realize that I am never going to be a "Rock star", ;)  I have heard that after you hit 40.. about 41 and on you stop worrying about being super Young, where did I go wrong, etc.. and start to enjoy Life again.. Hope it's true! lol.. ;)

I'm 33 and have so been there/am there!  LOL!  I have done a lot of what I wanted to do as a "Grown Up" but I just went a different direction with a few things.  I am a Mom which was most important to me - my aunt says that's all I've stated since I was 4yo!  LOL!  I have been able to be a SAHM and work p/t on and off since having my children.  I always wanted to be a nurse or teacher and I am able to do that thru working as a p/t clinic assistant at my kids school and thru helping in the classrooms (plus I was a preschool teacher when they were younger).  My life totally revolves around my children and I really don't know who "I" am anymore... this bothers me at times.  I'm just so wrapped in all their things - volunteering in their classes, PTA, working p/t at their school, etc that I don't get much "outside" time.  When I do it's with their friends parents and I really enjoy them so I've come not to mind "being lost" so much.  I know that one day the kids won't need me as much and I'll not know what to do but for now they love that I'm available to them and that I help so much at school.  They are proud of me and that's what is important to me at this time in my life.

I am glad to see I am not the only one that does this. I am 35 and I have 2 wonderful kids. But time has just flown by I can't believe I am already 35. Life seems just as hard now as when I was much younger. I wonder does it ever get any easier??

I used to be the young mom at church.  Now there's a whole new group of "young moms."  I am now starting to feel like I'm actually getting older.  This is the first time I've felt like this.  I've got 2 great kids and I'm so glad we're out of the toddler/ diaper stages in life!

I DO NTO FEEL I HAVE THE ENERGY I USED TO MY MARRIAGE TOOK ALOT OF MY YOUTH AND ENERGY AWAY. BUT I AM HAVING A GREAT TIME ENJOYING BEING A WOMEN. I FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE WITH WHO I AM. I HAVE A GREAT BOYFRIEND SHO IS VERY LOVING AND FUN AND WE ENJOY LIFE TOGETHER. VERY SELDEM EVER APART. I HAVE CHANGED SO MUCH THE LAST FEW YEARS. I AM AT A STRUGGLE WITH CLOTHS THOUGH. MY STYLE HAS CHANGED. I HAVE TO LOOK LIKE A MOM OF 30 BUT STILL BE SPUNKY.. SO I AM STILL TRYING TO FIND A MIDDLE GROUND.. PLUS I WOULD LIKE TO LOSE 20 POUNDS. SO IT IS NOT AS EASY AS IT USED TO BE TO DROP 20 POUNDS ... MY SISTER AND I  ARE JOINING THE Y. SO I HOPE THAT GET'S ME MOTIVATED.. HERE'S TO THE 30'S// NO WRINKLES AND NOT CARING WHAT OTHERS THINK AND LOVEING BEING ME..

I'm 34 years old, I'll be 35 on august, I've been feeling like this since i turn 30, now more them ever I'm like in a hurry to get things done, i feel the more i wait, i'll be older, i quit my last job of 7 years, because i wasn't doing what i wanted, i love working with kids, i started a daycare here at home, i can get good money, if you get you'r eight kids, 120 per kid, i have  two little one's of my own, so i start to think what if i don't want to keep doing this when my girls go to school full time, so i need to go back to school and take a fast course, so i start medical assistant classes on Monday! so i'll be doing both for now, there just so many thing i want to get done now before i turn 40 years old, I'm just so confused, so yes, i feel the way you do, i guess were just afraid to get old and realize we didn't do much, and damn kids grow fast don't they? my oldest is getting ready to go to high school..

Who ever thought I would marry my crush & good friend from high school? I also never would have thought I would be married twice w/ 2 kids from 2 husbands. That is not what I had ever planned. It's very sad. Who ever would have thought my youngest son would get diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy? But we never know what the Lord has planned for our lives, does he? We need to be strong women and moms and live life to the fullest. Right ladies?

I will be 37 in September.  I can truly say that I can look at my life now & I am thrilled with where I am in life.  Perhaps it's b/c I messed things up so bad when I was younger & the life I have now is not a life that I thought I could ever have.  Once I hit 30 my life became more stable and I became more confident about what I wanted out of life and what I didn't want.  I started to take some chances and made big changes that were life changing.  I don't regret the decisions of my youth b/c they made me who I am today and for the most part, I am happy with the person that I have become.
