We hit the grocery store this am to stock up for next week - I do a week at a time.  Now dh and I are trying to redo the office.  It's a mess!  We threw furniture and boxes in there when we moved last summer but since my desk and puter are in the kitchen we haven't used the office!  LOL!  Lots of pictures to hang, moving the desk, file cabinet, etc...  It's a beautiful day out so the kids will be out soon playing.  Earlier the turkeys were in the yard - about 15 of them wandering around!  They are wild and huge - over 4ft tall!  Tomorrow is flag football for Nick - that takes about 3hrs of our day with the rest to relax!

No kids for me this w/e ~ they are w/ their dad. So the hubby & I had some people over last night. Us girls had some cocktails and played Jenga and the boys had some & played foos ball. Jeff (my husband) was wearing these socks that I bought him ages ago for Valentine's Day - they're black w/ red hearts on them - and, oh boy! My BFF Dena had a field day ribbing him about them! LMAO! It was actually an early night for us - I think everyone split around 11 or so. Except for Ed, that is... but then again he only lives across the street so he usually lingers. Tonight my girl Pam-Cakes might grace me w/ her presence. We've been planning on getting together w/ a great bottle of wine - it's called Layer Cake - it's a red & it's to die for - and just chill and chat. Obviously right now I'm not doing much of anything except this. Hubby just left for the gym to train & I have to go across the street to feed my neighbor's cat. Tomorrow - well, my sister called & left me a message... something about going to my other sister's house w/ cake and chicken divan & celebrating my sister's b-day which is Wednesday. Lisa (b-day sis) lives literally in the boonies and I hate the drive, so I'm not sure if I'm up for it. Besides, I'm crabby and depressed and PMS'ing, so who'd want me around anyway? JK. Well, not about the crabby/depressed/PMS thing... If I don't find a job soon I'm gonna freak out. And then yesterday I had my unemployment hearing on the phone and my jerk of an ex-boss (who said he wouldn't fight my claim) was on the phone & saying the not-so-nicest things about me. All lies, I may add. Still can't figure out what the hell I ever did to him to make him so venomous, but that he is. Just hearing his voice made my skin crawl. YUK. So, that's my w/e, plus a little extra drama for good measure! I bet everyone is thrilled to death, huh? LOL. Just another day, as my husband would say!WinkLater!

Nice for you that the kids can play outside.  Not quite warm enough here in Ohio yet for us.  This weekend is all about getting over our headcolds.  Ugh!  DD seems to be on the mend and DS took a little turn from yesterday.  Nothing serious but kids want nuthin' but mom and Baby Einstein videos.   Oh joy.  I got a decent night sleep so my cold is better too.

So, nothing exciting here but if we all feel better on Monday morning I will have chalked it up in the win column.

I wish everyone get well vibes!

Ashley (6yo dd) has been on xopenex, pulmicort, and omnicef for the last week as well!  Then Wed night she got the stomache bug on top of the other stuff and started puking!  AUGH!  She's ok now unless she exerts herself - like today outside - and then we have to do more neb treatments!
