They are putting in our kitchen floor next week so I will have to do without my oven for 2 days. My in-laws are coming down and I need something to make for dinner. I was thinking of doing this recipe but not sure if it's any good or not. Has anyone here tried it and if so is it any good? Thanks! :)
That sucks! I'm sorry. I actually did one of those allergy tests a long time ago where they prick you with different things to see what all you allergic to. I was allergic to dust and tomatoes. I don't know what it does to me, but I never stopped eating them lol I love BBQ, spaghetti, lasagna, salsa and all that good stuff. You don't realize how many things have tomatoes in them until you can't have it anymore. I feel for ya :(

That sounds so good. Too bad I'm allergic to tomatoes. I would really love some nice and messy BBQ right now!
That's how I found out I'm allergic too.
I'm a displaced Southerner in my own skin!
I'm allergic to tomatoes, lemons and tea! Who in the heck is allergic to tea?
I have ezcema and trust me when I tell you those foods make little ol me very ugly and itchy and quite honestly gross to look at. I'm thrilled to have human skin again but not happy at what I had to give up to get here.

It can't be easy but if you were that miserable I'm sure it's worth not having them. It's like a diabetic you learn how to adjust and eat differently. I'm sure you also learn how to be creative with your food. Hahaha I have never heard of being allergic to tea. You would be the first lol If you are a Southerner then you always have your grits (ewww I can't stand them lol)

grits === yummy
Honestly my food allergies bug my family more than me cause they feel guilty eating foods I can't eat around me.
In a way I knew about the lemon and tomatoes before the tests came back. I loved to drink lemonade all the time but it gave me a nasty headache that caused me to stop drinking it for months and when I was pregnant with my daughter I developed a major hate of ketchup, just the smell would make me wretch. Tea on the other hand I never had a clue, probably cause I drank my sugar with tea LOL.

grits = ick, yuck, blahhhhhhh lol I just think they are bland. Maybe I just didn't have them the right way.
I think that is sweet your family feels guilty about you not being able to eat certain foods. It shows how much they love you. That is kind of good you got sick at the smell of ketchup when you got pregnant. Made it easier to not eat it anymore lol I love iced tea but I don't think I have ever had it with sugar in it. I did have the Lipton canned lemon tea and that is all it tasted like was sugar. It was gross lol I love lemonade to in the summer but it's not good for you so you are better off not having it. Maybe if I cut out all the food you have I might lose some weight. lol
