Hi ladies, so I have a hunk o pork,frozen, cooking in my crock with 1/2C water and a 1/4 C apricot pineapple preserves. I plan on adding the entire 6 oz bottle of southwest chicken zesty fajita cooking sauce around 4 and cooking for another 2 hours then shredding the pork and serving in pitas. Alongside I will make a simple green salad and use the accompanying BBQ ranch salad dressing. I have some avocado for this salad too, YUM!!!
So have any of you used this kit of sauces? It comes from Kraft and while it calls for chicken I had pork and it does say I can substitute. Also, it does not say "for crock pot use" so just wondering how it will break down in the CP
