My name is Tammy, and I decided to start this group because I *love* my slow cooker(s) and use them constantly! I have another cooking group on CafeMom called Simple Homestyle Cooking,(Please feel free to join!) but wanted to dedicate this group entirely to slow cooker recipes. (My slow cookin' section was bursting at the seams! lol)
I am a 30-something year old single mom from Ohio, with a 17 year old daughter, Meghan. I am currently a college student, and will be graduating soon with a degree in Business Management and one in Hospitality Management. I'd love to have my own restaurant, but until the money falls int my lap, sharing recipes with my CafeMom friends is fun too :)

I'm glad that you're a member of both groups too! :) Crock pot cooking is so nice in the summer--it doesn't heat the house up! lol

I use my slow cookers/crockpots all the time too, I have three different sizes and they're all awesome!
