A CHALLENGE FOR YOU ALL

 am going  to challenge you all to do something ===

I am now in Clearwater, Fla (for  the winter months only) and since I have been retired and getting a  bit bored  can u believe that??   but  any way   I cant  sit around  and  not  be crocheting or knitting      I have contacted the V A hospitals and found  out that so many of our  wounded , disabled veterans are wheel chair  bound and could use laprobes   I  am  sure  they hate to have  ppl starring  at their legs or lack of

 

so MY CHALLENGE TO YOU ALL     PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING LAP ROBES      ABOUT 36'' X 48'' IN BRIGHT COLORS AND TAKE THEM TO THE LOCAL VA HOSPITALS OR  MAIL THEM TO ONE IF YOU DONT  HAVE  ANY NEAR YOU      IT WONT COST A  LOT  TO  MAIL THEM OUT IF THAT IS WHAT YOU HAVE  TO DO   

IF YOU NEED TO FIND OUT WHERE THE NEAREST TO U IS CALL YOUR LOCAL V F W OR AMERICAN LEGION POSTS THEY CAN FIND OUT  FOR U  THERE IS ONE NEAR ME THAT HAS A UNIT FOR SPINAL CORD INJURIES AND THE WOMAN TOLD ME T HERE ARE OVER 100 PATIENTS THERE    SO I HAVE  MY WORK CUT  OUT FOR  ME

 THANKS IN ADVANCE      PLEASE POST ANY IDEAS YOU ALL MAY HAVE ON THESE ROBES     AND  REMEMBER  THERE ARE WOUNDED WOMEN AS WELL AS MEN
