if any of you girls ever need support etc   have u ever thot of going to  you local American Legion clubs or the VFW's    they have great women auxilaries at least most do  and if the one near you doesnt they can help u find one close by      I just joined the one here in SAFETY HABOUR  FLa and wowo I feel so great and welcomed right off the bat   

they give u support  have group dinners and a lot of projects to keep you and your minds busy\\\

just a thot you might want  to ck in to

My hubby belongs to the VFW in our area and I have been to many of their functions but find the women in the auxiliary very unfriendly.  You would think that since my hubby is on the board and probably their worst nightmare when it comes to funding they would invite me to join them just to get around him.

Finally got invited to join the VFW Auxiliary.  My daughter and I will both join the post where my hubby belongs in Jan.  We are both going to get lifetime memberships.  My grandson will also become a member then and he deploys tomorrow morning at 3am to Iraq.  If they don't do care packages now, they will be when we join.  We are not joining to play bingo.
