OH man... totally enjoy yourself and try to relax and be yourself.  There is a very special relationship between you and it's very cool that you guys are building on it.  Awesome!!!

Remember You guys are family now. Just be yourself, and I'm glad that you are happy and confident you choose the right family. Life has it ups and downs and as long as you know you made the right decision, it's going to carry through. Take lots of pictures, and be sure to send them emails, especially if there is any changes in your health for it might cause genetic problems later on in life. Enjoy yourself, this is a family celebration! Let me know how it turns out.

Dinner went great!! I felt more open this time to speak about the labor and delievery process and what I want out of it. I asked them if they had choosen a name and they had. They are naming him Maddox Cole (which is my last name) Hibbs. I was shocked in a good way that they decided to give him my last name as his middle.  They will be back next month to visit again. Thanks for all the encouraging words. This is them at our first meet up with their first adopted daughter. She is now 8 months.

How cute! Do they have an open adoption with her parents? I know one reason I chose my sons parents is because they have an open adoption with their first childs bparents, and they had pictures of them all together in their profile!

I hope you guys continue to have a great relationship :)

I am not due until Feb. we are just building a relationship now so that after the birth our open adoption plans run smoothly.

Don't mean to be negative, but meeting with each other does not guarantee the open adoption plans will run smoothly.  I wish you much luck and I hope they do run as expected so you and your child benefit.

Ask for contact info on their first child's birthmother.  See what she has to say and see how she feels about it.

Pre birth matching is a croc and coersive.  Just because they have open-ness with one or are being all kind with you now doesn't mean that is what it will be after YOUR baby is in their arms.
