Srry it has been so long since I have been on. I ended up having to leave CM for a while because of Ashely's mom finding me on here. She was threating to take what contact I had with them and keep me in the dark on Ashely till she was out of her home. We ended up in court where the judge told the AP that the contract they signed gave me visitation rights that they had been denying me since Ashely was placed in their home. But now that things are more settled I felt that it was safe for me to come back and update you amazing ladies. Ashely is in remission and I got to meet her for the first time last week. She looks nothing like her sprem donor and she is so smart. She asked me about her baby sister and told me about her baby brother that her APmom was having in May. She wants to get to know me more, but that all depends on her parents and on how things go. When I get home tonight I will add the pics from that day.
Congratulations!
Please tell us more about the judge and the court appearance. I've never heard of an open adoption agreement being enforced and this is great news.
She asked me if I knew who's blood she got while in the hospital. I told her that Auroa had given her her cord blood. That made Ashely so happy. She said now she had her baby sister always with her. It made me cry.
The judge shocked everyone! Alright so what happened that caused us to go to court was they where suing me for slander! They had my post from here and from my facebook, saying that I was trashing their good names and i wasn't a fit mother! It was a mess. My lawyer told me to just stay off of both accounts till everything was resolved and to not count on anymore contact with these people because they where being very nasty. Well the day of court came and I told the judge that I would delete my accounts and leave the AP alone, but I just wanted to know that my daughter was ok and get the occational picture of her now and again. He looked like he was going to deny me my small request. But he read over the adoption agreement and talked to the case worker. He sent us to recess and came back saying that THEY wanted me to be involed. That they had demanded that once Ashely was old enough to have vists that as long as I wanted to I could see her. So the judge said that he was going to make them eat thier words!!!
Wow that's awesome. And how did the APs seem to take it?
I am in tears of joy for you. I am soo happy the judge has upheld the agreement they had. And that she is so happy to know her sister is the one who saved her...and also SOOOO happy that she is in remission!!!!! thanks for the update. i hope the APs come around and stop acting cold towards you.
It seems the ap's have learned a little lesson about karma. I hope for you and Ashley they will really understand how karma works, and be nice!
It doesn't matter now though. You got to see your baby girl and talk with her. What she said about her sister made me tear up too.
