Andrea and Jan have volunteered to help Administrate this group while I am on and off during this time with my daughter (THANK YOU!!!).

Yes, thank you for all you do. It seems that you both have the ability to handle every situation that arises. Just know I joined this group by accident and since Ive been able to read and dialogue freely I'm a new person no longer shut away in a world of shame and the unknown. For some its hard to believe but for those who are a part of the closed adoption era a world of its own and those who know the daily grief and suffering for so many years can appreciate what it feels like to finally explore all the issues I have never been able to. Having said this I have complete confidence in both of your abilities to over see the group no matter the name or who may join in the days to come. Respectfully, Marylou![]()

Awww, thanks Marylou for the vote of confidence. I agree that it doesn't really matter so much what the group is called as how it is run. I think it is inevitable with so many different personalities for sparks to fly at times, particularly when there are all members of the triad and with differing points of view.
It probably is hard for those younger moms to understand how freeing it is for those of us who hid from our issues for so many years. I admire anyone who has the strength to face their issues and work on healing. It certainly isn't easy!
