Hi Ladies!

First of all, ALL moms are welcome.  Postings to this site, however, are reserved for those ladies who are either birthmoms, have either been adopted or have released for adoption, or are currently in the process of or considering releasing for adoption.  If you are a potential Adoptive parent "PAP", I would prefer that you only post if it is a note of appreciation to the ladies here, and to otherwise just "lurk".  The discussions here will hopefully provide some insight as to what we go through as birthmoms and give you a better understanding when dealing with your adoption choices and the future issues you all will face.  This site is neither "for" or "against" adoption and "bashing" the individuals that choose either side will not be tolerated.  It is simply a forum for birthmoms to feel safe and heal after an incredibly difficult decision and time in our lives, as well as educating the young women who have not yet decided which is the best choice for them.  This site is also NOT to solicit for a child and/or parents for your child.  There may be other sites on CafeMom that would facilitate those particular needs, but we do not.

This site was designed to be a "safe haven" to share the fears, anger, joy, confusion, questions, celebrations, and hope that goes along with adoption.  I respect all perspectives, experiences and opinions; however, this site will encourage from a Christ-centered and "pro-life" perspective.  If you do not share this perspective, you are still more than welcome to be a part of this group.  I just think it fair to let you know, in advance, from where my thoughts and encouragement will be coming from.  No one will be juged for their personal beliefs.  Thank you to all who are participating, whether it be by encouraging another, developing friendships, or just reading and being counted in our number!  You are an encouragement to me, as I see the need is so great to connect with others like us.

I do not want to offend, but will delete and block postings that attempt to use this group to advertise, solicit, or use this as a platform that I feel is counterproductive to the goal and vision of this site. 

If you receive a warning from me or one of our Administrators, it will be the only warning before removal from our group.  If misuse or abuse continues, you will be removed from the group with much regret, but no further notice.  If you disagree with an action or warning taken against you, please PM me directly.

As with any other internet site, please DO NOT give out your address (and use caution when giving out personally identifying information) to those who are not known personally to you.  Please protect your children and yourselves.
