Well, Heather, introduce yourself LOL!
I'm Stephanie, I'm one of the co-leaders of ICAN of Tulsa. I have 3 boys, aged 8, 5, and 2. My 1st son was an epi-free vaginal birth, 2nd was c/s due to breech, 3rd was a VBAC attempt that ended in a c/s. I WOT full-time as a speech-language pathologist. I'm passionate about womens' rights in birthing, and evidence-based pregnancy and childbirth care.
Nice to "meet" everybody!
Oh, I just posted this for the new ladies to the groups. :) All of our intros are in the old thread which I linked to.

Hello! I'm new here and to CafeMom in general. My name is Sarah and I have an "almost" 8 month old boy. He was born via an emergency c/s. My husband and I are looking at trying to add to our family sometime this year and I would like to find a good OB who will allow me the option of a VBAC when the time comes. I give private music instructions a few days at my home in Claremore and spend the rest of my time being a wife and mommy!
Kelli ~ You might get more replies if you start a new thread. That will also keep this thread for intros only. Thanks!! :)

It's alright! Just don't want your question to get missed by being buried in this thread. :)

Hello! My name is Holly and I was very glad to find this group!
I have a 3 year old daughter, born in October of '06, and my husband and I have begun to discuss trying for baby number 2. After doing all of my research the first time around, I had planned for a natural, no intervention birth at South Crest with the full support of my care provider. After 48 hours with no success, I consented to a C section. The experience was extremely traumatic and disappointing, and the hospital stay wasn't much better.
This time around I want desperately to have a natural, vaginal birth, but I have been discouraged about my chances for success by my care provider. So now my hope is to talk to anyone and everyone I can about the specifics of my first birth and the probable chances for a successful VBAC, before I am pregnant again, and possibly find a support group to (finally) deal with the trauma and sadness surrounding my CS.
Heather, would a pre pregnancy appointment to discuss a VBAC be something that I could arrange at Renaissance? I would love to be able to give birth at a birthing center!
Welcome Holly! It's nice to meet you. You have come to the right place to talk through your thoughts and feelings regarding your first birth.
I'm sorry, the birth center will not be available after June.
