by muddaof3ms on Jun. 27, 2008 at 1:01 AMI think it is sad that moms have to be reminded of the "rules". Set an example for your child even if they don't happen to read what you write. |

I agree. Everyone feels like taking a "break" from life every once in a while but not at the expense of your kids. Those escapes should have been done before you had kids. A better solution would be to go get a massage or facial. It's great. Don't have a lot of money, call the Massage schools, they are always looking for bodies to practice on, and it doesn't cost a fortune.

by MammaBear53008 on Aug. 2, 2008 at 7:12 PMI agree... I am a young mother but the use of drugs and alcohol is never the way to "take the edge off." All it does is make more problems for the parent and especially the children they care for. Anyone who love a child so much shouldn't think of doing something the is unethically despicable. I had some wild times I admit, and I still go out and have some fun, but that means i go to Magic mountain or Hurricane harbor and leave my infant with her grandma and grandpa for a few hours while I'm gone. Being a mom means you have to be ethically responsible. I may have said a lot, but that's why this is here, yes? Get a massage, get your toe nails done or a manicure. That's always fun, and it feels so good... |
