HI ! My name is Dana and I am new to this group. Ive been on Cafemom for a while but really haven't had alot of luck making friends? Im not very outgoing. I am 37 years old and have 4 children-3 girls, ages 10,7,and 3 and 1 boy 14 months-they are my whole life ! Im trying to start my own web-based business making custom childrens clothes. I love to cook. We attend Heritage Bible church. My Husband rides a harley and works for Kaiser. He is a licensed Marraige and Family Therapist, but is taking a break and is currently working as Kaisers Manager of Continuing Care-running 5 departments. I will get on the table right now that I HATE Kaiser and will bash them every chance I get. LOL. Im looking for friends with children the same or about the same ages and mine for fun playdates. We love to go on daytrips to the Fresno Zoo and may venture out to the LA Zoo and the Santa Barbara Zoo this summer ! The more the merrier ! And we have a pool ! Anybody want to go swimming ???? I have no support system here in town. I belong to another online community and love them in fact 2 of the moms are flying out to spend their vacations with us but none of the moms are local. 'And I would really like to get to know some local moms ! Especially for my 3 year old daugher and my 14 month old !  Anyway thats me-glad to meet all of you and hope to get to know you better !

Hi Mommies - I'm new to all of this, just like everyoe else!  I have a 5 month old - nearly 6 months.  I have been a high school math teacher for a few years and have now decided to stay home starting next year to try out mommyhood.  We own an oil production company, and a few little service companies here in town.  We are really outgoing and involved in far too many activities, but still search for people who are more in tune to having children since we are so young.  We will be trying again this summer for another baby (i.v.f.) and can't wait.  We live in Westchester (south side of 24th).  What else?  .....Till next time!

My name is Alexis, I'm a single mom as well. I have two children, my son is four and my daughter is two. My two children and I moved here from Wisconsin about six months ago and I would really like to ge the chance to meet some decent people in the area. I'm a fun loving mom who would just like to meet some people worth spending time with. I'm not trying to be rude, but my experience with websites hasn't been terribly positive and I'm hoping that I will have better luck with Cafe mom.

Hi Bakersfield Mommies!  When I saw that there was a group of you, I was so excited, because I just moved here about a year ago.  My fiance and I are still looking for friends, and it's really hard, because everyone around our age seems to either be single (and going out partying etc) or much older than us.  We're in our early 20's (I'm 21 and he's 25).  Our daughter is 6 months old.  I'm from Chicago originally, and was studying Music Education when I left my university since I was preggo.  We still live with his parents, but we're planning to move out within this next month (still in Bakers).  Anyone wanna make a play date?
