Bakersfield Mamas
hi ladies thanks for reading this. i dont know who better to ask than ppl who have gone through goving birth.
ok, well i gave birth to my beautiful 7pound 2 ounce lil lady on september 22nd. and ever since then whenever i cough i pee my pants!!! and some times its so bad that it totally wtes my pants, im talking running down my leg. and i cough alot because i have bad asthma.
one time (this is the REALLY embarasing part, please dont make fun of me) i coughed and i...well you know. ya i craped my self. its THAT bad you guys, and i went to the doctor and he said the only way to fix it is to have it surgically, but he said that i should just wait til im done having kids to fix it because the next time i give birth i will just rip whats been fixed.
im only 18 i want more kids but not for a while. but id like to maybe have like 4 kids. so i dont know what to do. so if anybody here has gone through this and fixed it without surgery let me know. or anybody with just anything to say at all, any reply is appreciated.
i cant live my life like this, its disgusting and embarasing. i dont even go out anywhere anymore becasue of it. =(
and iv already tried kagle excersies or whatever and its not working.
thanks for taking the time to read this. i dont know what else to do.
you guys are great.

by mybratsmom on Nov. 17, 2008 at 6:51 PMIf it's that bad have the surgery. The kegals will help as far as the bladder issue, the other one, I think you're on your own. Do the kegals all the time...ALL THE TIME. But at the same time, the two are not related...different muscles are in charge of the different "outlets". Get to a doctor and have them check you out and make sure that there hasn't been any nerve damage since you have no muscle control. |

by queenb_617 on Nov. 23, 2008 at 2:06 PMactaully Kegels will help both issues if you are doing them correctly! The Kegel muscle controls all 3 "outlets" as PP said. You tighten 3 times quick then hold on the 3rd time for 5 seconds. I had my son sept 4th and I have been having some back door issues as well. . . I am not sure if its related but I am assuming it is. It seems after I do #2 I wipe wipe wipe until nothing then a few hours later I have . . . residue (best way to describe it) and its quite gross and itchy haha. I wish you the best of luck with your situation! |
