My husband joined the Navy when I was a Sophomore in HS. So in between my Sophomore and Junior year my Mom & her best friend took me to Florida to see him (I'm a Texan). One of the things we did was go see the Lion King.

Journaling: (My husband was in the Navy at the time so I was headed for a whole new world - but that is another page!!)

My wedding was wonderful but this moment was more unreal. Maybe because this was reality. This was me leaving my home in Texas- the only home I had ever known - where my family was, where all my friends were, where I felt safe & secure to go start my own home in Washington state.
