Hello Mommies! I wanted to know if there are any families that adopted from Asia that live in the Tampa area (mainly in Valrico, Brandon, Riverview areas). We adopted our daughter, Alyssa, 5 years ago this past May when she was 15 months old. She is now 6 and in 1st grade. I am looking for other adoptive families in my area and also interested in local clubs, etc. for my daughter to be a part of. Her country and culture are very important to us and we want to learn and be involved more. Does anyone know if there are Chinese language classes for children, Brownies or Girl Scouts, or any other play group / get together in my area? Unfortunately, the groups I have found are well over an hour away. It would be so wonderful to find something closer to home.
