Recently, the small Asian-American community in Atlanta got MARTA to change the name of the yellow line to gold. The terminus in one direction is in an area with an Asian cultural centre nearby and many Asian-American residents.

Similarly, I learned of a Chik-Fil-A debacle in CA through another Cafemom group post. I am not Asian, yet I will share my discontent with the company headquarters here in ATL as a former employee over 30 years ago whne I was in college and the only minority employed at the franchise in my NC town.

A similar episode took place at a pizza franchise in NYC in 2011. The Asian-American female was in a mostly Black-Latino area. Some excused the incident with questioning why she would go to a franchise with all the restaurants all ovr town. It was her choice.
