What is that tool called that you can wrap around a cake pan to keep from having a dome?
I want to get 3, but I don't even know how to search for it. So far, I have been using aluminum foil. It helps some, but that is so aggravating to do.
Where can I find the tool?

Wilton calls them "bake even strips." You can order them from their website. You could check the hobby stores that sell Wilton products. You can find them on Amazon.com also.
the wilton baking strips...i have a set; they are so-so...something i learned to do is to take the cake pan and spin it on the counter; redistributing the batter from the middle to the edges since we tend to pour the batter into the middle of the pan...try it.
This is what my Grandmother taught me to do... Spin it really good, then pop it into the oven.

Great ideas! I'll try the spinning first.

I don't know about a tool, but I learned from a friend to only grease the bottom of the cake pan, not the sides. The edges will rise more evenly with the middle of the cake. After the cake is cool, run a knife around the edge to loosen.
Good luck!
