Bakers are Us!
If you like to bake, or want to learn how, this is the place for you. If you wish you could bake you are also welcomed. I love to make bread, cakes, cookies, pies from scratch or with a little help from mixes.
Share your recipes tips and tricks. Just enjoy the art of creating the food you feed your family and friends.
It's a place to ask questions about recipes that have failed you and communicate with others who share your passion for heating up the kitchen.
No spam. No advertising-or promoting anything, and that includes in your signature, which needs to be discreet, not blaring, not bill-board sized. No links of any kind. Anything other that baking issues will be deleted.

This group is specifically about baking only. All other topics will be delete. No spam allowed. No advertising or promoting anything, that includes in your signature. Keep signatures discreet, not blaring, not billboard sized. If you find a recipe on the Internet that you want to share, that's fine as long as you state this, and say whether or not you have tried this particular recipe. Otherwise, it could be misleading to someone who thinks it's a tried and true recipe. Same thing with photos. Don't let us assume that something is your own work if it's not. Please use spell check. It makes it so much easier to read. Make your titles to posts specific. Don't just put "need recipe" or "please help". You'll get better results if you state what you're looking for, like "Need chocolate cake recipe", or "My favorite method of making pie crust". This will also help later if someone is trying to find the post, it needs to be specific for it to show up in Search Posts. No links of any kind. This creates problems for some of our members, and then we can't put the recipe in the cookbook. Just copy and paste a recipe and state where you got it, and whether or not you personally have tried it.
Let's not use lazy writing. It really doesn't reflect well on you. Internet abbreviations are confusing for some, and since we're now putting recipes in the cookbook, let's be considerate of each other, it only takes a few extra seconds.
Please ask any questions you have about baking. There are no stupid questions. There are lots of members with experience in baking who will be happy to answer. Maybe someone else has wondered about it to, but just didn't ask, so you would also be helping them.
