Conductive Education
Hoo-rah! I'm so stinkin excited! Logan starts his first day of CE on September 2. I am required to be with Logan in class for the entire month. Our class starts at 9am and ends around 12:30pm, Monday through Friday. I really can't find the words to describe my emotions. The possibilites available to Logan and what he can gain from the program. It's almost overwhelming. I'm also looking forward to a real eye opener and learning new ways to help Logan. YAY!!!

by marklorna on Aug. 22, 2008 at 9:13 AMI'm so excited for you guys! Please check in once you start the program and let everyone know how it's going! When you have a special needs child, it is like floating in the ocean. You will have highs when you ride the top of the wave and move forward and lows when the wave crashes over you and sucks you back. As you are riding a low wave of sadness, frustration & disappointment, just keep in mind the next wave will take you back up and move you forward once more. by L.J.squared on Aug. 23, 2008 at 9:22 PMOh, for sure! I am thrilled and can't wait to start. I know Logan will not be happy to begin. It will definitely take time for him to adapt and get used to their principles. I hope someday he will learn to appreciate it. I have a blogsite dedicated to Logan: http://www.loganssuperheroes.blogspot.com/. Please take a peek. This is going to my communication mainstream when Logan starts CE. With all the wonderful donations we have received to continue Logan's journey into CE, I wanted to have something people can read at their leisure. I hope to keep the blog updated regularly to share Logan's progress. Thank you for letting me share this with you. Keri Cerebral Palsy: To What Degree? |

Depending on how it goes, he may transition into the early childhood group. We have to wait a few weeks and see. It'd be nice to meet you. Keri Cerebral Palsy: To What Degree? |

Logan and I are there from 9:30 - 12:30 for this month. Not sure what class or what hours he will have when he gets to continue. Regardless, I'm looking forward to it. Man, I sure wish I could stick around to meet you on Wednesday. Please let me know how it goes. I'm excited for you both. I'll be thinking about you two!

by daisysmom24 on Sep. 23, 2008 at 7:50 PMYes. I think I have seen you a few times. We are always standing around talking in the mornings. I hope you are having a good time there. If you do start in the other class that is where we are!! Maybe next time I can say Hey I am Suzanne. I just hardly ever get on cafemom. Guess I should more often? |
