The Early Intervention supervisor and the Physical Therapist were at our house last night doing Derek's yearly evaluation. He's graduated from Early Intervention services. He is 16 mo actual age and tested in the 17-19 mo. range in all areas including his gross motor which was where he was behind before. He will still be tracked every 6 months so we can monitor his progress to make sure nothing changes, but I'm so excited that my baby has caught up in all areas. My pedi was right last week. Whew! I'm so proud of my little guy!!!
My son is 13 months old and just started on a Early Intervention Program today he will receive Physical and Speak Therapy there. He will also have a full auditive test there because the Ped suspect he is deaf on one ear. I'm sad and scared because I don't know what to expect. But I'm also happy to hear your LO made it through. Congrats.
