  Sounds like we have a lot in common. My boys were born at 27 weeks and 2 days also.. They were 2lbs and 2.2lbs. I was on bedrest for 4 weeks before they were born and in the hospital for 10 days prior their birth....

   

  They are 5 months old. It was determined later that I have a bicornate uterus (two seperate halves right and left) which usually doesn't cause pregnancy issues but both my boys ended up on the right side. So I had two babies trying to share half a uterus....How about you?

  They are 22 months as of today. I had an incompetent cervix, which I am thinking is due to having 2 leeps to get rid of pre cervical cancer after my first son, I went to a routine ultrasound and was told to go to the dr I was at 2, dr said go to hospital, at hospital apparently I was having 9 contrations an hour I could not feel them though ( I was 22 weeks) they put me on mag, did an amnio, and a cerclage, I was supposed to go home 3days later, my cervix opened back up again, after 2 weeks I was supposed to go home again on bedrest, they finally let me go on a wheelchair ride downstairs, well when I came back I went into labor and my dr said I wasn't leaving till I had them. How long were you in labor with your little ones? How did you have them?

  I started bleeding at 24 weeks. I was hospitalized at 26 weeks when my water broke. I made it 8 days in the hospital when I had my first contraction. The Dr. came in and said your fine you are only dialated to 2.     45 min later they were wheeling me in for an emergency c-sec. My contractions went from 15 min appart to 2 min appart w/ in 45 min and I was dialated to 8 .  I thought for sure baby A (NIcholas) was going to be born vag and B (Nathan) would be c-sec. They made it though. Thank God I was already at the hosp. I think it made all the difference in how well the boys did. We have been really lucky.

• yeah we are really lucky. I had baby a (Nathen) completly natural no meds and baby b(Aiden) by c-section. All and all my labor and deliver with Aiden being c section was only 53 min. They are very special kiddos all preemies are.

• I had my twins at 28 weeks. No complications at all untill 27weeks and 6 days that night I thoght I last part of my plug but didnt think much of it then went to bed woke up at 5 to go pee and I was bleeding. Went to the hospital was already at 5cm and less then 2 hours later when they couldnt stop my labor and I was fully dialated I had an emergency csection because baby b (nicholas) was breech. Baby a (george) weighed 2lbs 8oz and baby b weighed 2lbs 11oz. baby b came home at 11 weeks and baby a came home at 12 weeks due to a kidney infection. They are now 18 months old and doing great. they are still small for there age weighing in at 18lbs 13oz  and 28inchs tall for both of them and at there 18 month check up. They do not have any delays except for not talking yet besides dada, and mama and jiberish. Which is fine for there age. Well I think thats all.
