 I love William Holden. I became familiar with him through an episode of I Love Lucy :)

He was so handsome, but still had that boy next door quality.  I loved him in Picnic and Sabrina.

 OH I agree Fanny- he did seem very real. Gosh, he really was a nice looking man. I liked him first in Stalag 17 then Sabrina, Picnic -- and I loved him in Born Yesterday.

Hi. I'm new to the group, but I am a William Holden fan. I loved him in Dear Ruth and Apartment for Peggy (with Jeanne Crain). I liked him in Sabrina and although I can see why Sabrina ended up with Linus Larrabee, I always thought William Holden played the younger brother so well that Sabrina could have ended up with him. I saw the end of Born Yesterday the other night and loved him in that as well. I'm more partial to his earlier movies.
