That's another wonderful thing about the classics, the beautiful and at times, haunting theme music. Whether its just the opening song or the music throughout, it just speaks to you. What are some of your most memorable or favorite movie tunes that you've loved from the classic movies over the years??

***I started this post a loooong time ago {when I was still known here as mandra609} and I thought it would be great to get it going again.....
list any songs of the classics you can think of!!!!
How about this one? The hauntingly beautiful theme to "Laura"..... just wonderful music here...
who doesn't know and remember this one? :) I personally like the song better than I ever did the movie.
Theme to A Summer Place
this one honestly just makes me happy when I hear it!!!
I grew up with this one... its my parent's song and "their movie"... so I've seen it about a million times... this music always moves me...always...
Moon River ~Henry Mancini
I like the themes directors played for certain characters. like in Pride and Prejudice - the Greer Garson version, every character had a theme and it was absolutely perfect. From the stately Lady Catherine de Bourgh (is that how her name is spelled?) to the funny and whimsical music for Mr. Collins.

Babies are such a great way to start people… Tiny yawns, sleepy sighs, nursery rhymes, and lullabies.
