About Urban Chickens

Urban chickens are becoming a very common thing in many parts of the US today. This group is a place for mamas to talk about any questions they have regarding chickens from raising chicks, coops, breeds, egg laying to weird behaviors chickens have.
If you’re new to the idea come take a look around and feel free to ask any questions. Some people will raise them as pets who also supply eggs some raise them as feed chickens and all this is acceptable but no Cock Fighting discussions is acceptable!

2. no more weed killer or pulling weeds; your chickens will eat them for you
3. no more slugs or other bugs eating in the garden

6. You give your kids the sense of farm life even in the city
