Sorry I can't help with your question very much. Mostly, I just wanted to let you know your post has been read. Are the seizures due to blood sugars or could it be due to something else? My daughter was tested for seizures a couple years ago, unrelated to diabetes. The test wasn't complicated at all and we had results w/i the week.

it is not typical to have seizures on a regular basis.  i think you need to determine whether they are related to blood sugar.  if they aren't - he needs medical help.  if they are - the insulin really needs to be adjusted.  that shouldn't be allowed to happen over and over again; it's a sign that the insulin dose isn't right and he is having life threatening lows.  don't let the doctor blow you off!

the pump is really good for helping avoid nighttime lows.  the insulin can be adjusted so specifically that he gets just the right amount at all times to keep him in range.  please let us know what you find out.....
