snacks?

I need some new ideas for snacks.My 4 year old is getting sick of the same things and  i really do not know any snacks with 0 carbs or diabetic healhy snacks,please if anyone has any let me know.

I think there is an older post in here about snacks, with little to no carbs. I will look for it and see if I can bump it up for you.

LOL, was right about the post, just wrong about the group. It is actually a sticky in the Raising a Child with Type 1 diabetes group. But I copied the post.

FREE foods (or nearly free)

Peanut Butter and celery

String cheese

Pickles

Sugar Free jello + 1 TBSP Light Cool Whip = 2 grams

Slim Jims

Cucumbers = 1 gram

Flavored Pistachios

Blue Bunny carb conscious yogurt smoothies = 5 grams

Salami or peperoni or vienna sausages

Dannon Carb Smart yogurt = 3 grams

Ham, cream cheese and pickle roll ups

Celery with tuna

ham or turkey with cheese rolls

1 oz peanuts

Spray whipped cream = 0 carbs

non-breaded chicken strips with salsa

Kool Aid jammers = 2 grams

Hard boiled eggs

Black or green olives

Tic Tacs

Sugar free gum

Sugar free Kool aid individual packets for water (Walmart has a HUGE supply of these in their own brand)

Sugar free ice pops

Dippin Dots Rainbow Ice

Hot Dogs - 1 frank = 3g or less depending on brand

Sonic's Diet Coke or Diet Dr. Pepper slushy

Crystal Light Slurpee from 7-11= 6g carbs/8 oz serving

Lemon Lime Shots Popsicles = 3g carbs

Minute Maid LIGHT Lemonade in cans - 2g/can - freeze for a slush

Cottage cheese

Sugar Free snow cone syrup is available! Check the carbs!

The sonic slushy is not 0 carbs since the slushie mix is manly sugar, but I will add that my boys love omelettes

You can make a nice big full omlette with no carbs

 

eggs=o carbs

cheese= 0 carbs

turkey/ ham/ sausage= 0 carbs

veggies= 0 carbs
