we have a 14 yr old son who just all of a sudden broke out in a rash. Automatically started him on benedryl and that seems to help clear it up a little and the rash tends to go down.
TOday i cam home from work..and he was upset ..he put some lotion on and wallah the rash came back ..
We don't have health insurance (Lovely company took it away when they downsized) so i'm tryin to help him without makin they trip to the dr unless its absolultely neccesarry. I have talked to the dr and he said the benedryl should help him thru but i need to get him away from as many chemicals as possible.Said could be part of a hormonal change since he's going thru puberty as well.
we did the food diary and nothin he eats seems to affect it..its whenever he puts somethin on his body, (soap, shampoo)
I know its not eczema topic..but it runs in my family and wondering if mebe this could be the start of it...
I would like to know what you all use that might be chemical free, shampoo body soap..laudnry detergent.
