A little about me....

My name is Roxanne (MommyWisdom). I've been Blessed with two Amazing children and I say goodnight and wake up each morning next to my Soulmate who brings such Unconditional Love & Happiness to our Family. Together, we've made a Promise to live the rest of our lives in Absolute Abundance expressing Gratitude for all we have and all we will achieve.

Our Journey began two years ago when I was hospitalized for pre-term labor and spent weeks lying in a hospital bed away from my family for the first time. Despite the strict bedrest rules and the medications to stop my contractions, our "Miracle Mia" was born prematurely at 28 wks gestation, 3 months early.

The next few months were excruciating. It was heartbreaking to see our little one connected to all the machines, tangled in wires upon wires for tracking everything from her heartbeat to oxygen saturation and needing the support of a ventilator to do what most people take for granted....to breathe.
It broke our hearts to leave her each night in the NICU in the care of strangers.

I spent the next months in a place of Worry, in the land of What if's...such a dark place to be.

I knew I needed to stay strong, change my attitude and start living again because Mia needed a Mother, not someone who couldn't hold her tears back each time she stepped foot in the NICU. And our son, Noa, who was barely a year and a half needed to see Mommy smiling again.

Together, Hugo (DH) and I, decided it was time to change our mindset. We soon discovered the Power of Positive Thinking. When any negative thoughts would arise in our heads, we'd quickly think about all the things we were grateful for. We'd soon forget why we were worried to begin with. We made it a habit to turn anything negative into a positive.

We began to see our life change. We were a family again. This time, our bond even stronger. We promised that nothing would ever break us again, spiritually, mentality and emotionally.

Fast Forward to NOW......

Mia has made tremendous progress, recovering well from past surgeries and hospitalizations. She's taking little steps to close the developmental gap due to her premature birth. We are Grateful for each tiny step forward and the many more to come. Noa has grown to become a handsome chatterbox. LOL He so adores his baby sister and loves to do anything to make her smile. Hugo and I are inseparable spiritually and continue to express Gratitude for this Incredible Journey. We have discovered the True meaning of Unconditional Love, Gratitude and Patience.

We are Proud to be Mommy & Daddy. It has been our Ultimate Gift. Our Positive mindset has also spilled over to life outside our Family. We've used it to create Success and Abundance in our businesses as well. We are so very Grateful.

This Extraordinary Journey has brought me to You....

To share with you what I have learned in this Amazing Transformation....To Live each day in Absolute Abundance and only surrounding ourselves with Positive Energy and the Incredible feeling of Gratitude.

Thank you for letting me share this. I can't wait to hear your story, your Passion or be part of the beginning of your New Positive and Abundant Future.

Many Blessings....Roxanne

Hello my name is Melissa (Mommaspidey) and I have 3 wonderful children. A 16 year old girl, a 12 year old girl and a 3 year old boy.  If any of you are wondering how I came up with the name mommaspidey it is a saying between myself and my oldest daughter (we are very close). When she was little we used to play "mommaspidey and babyspidey" with our hands and make them into "spiders" ! and so she has called me that every since.
I am blessed to have a wonderful husband who puts up with ALOT living with 3 girls.  He came into my life when my oldest daughter was 6 and after we married adopted her at age 12.  He has always been a more positive person them me and and pretty much believes in living day to day.

So what brought me to this group? Well I meet Roxanne on Cafemom and she has become a dear friend to me in a very short time.  Roxanne has come up with the idea of this group because she (and I) want to help others with any kind of self-help and motivation that they desire.  You will find that Roxanne is a great inspiration to others and I really don't think she EVER sleeps!

My first step to self-help was "The Secret" and since then I have read many other books and articles.     I am learning new things every day and blessed to have found Cafemom to share it with anyone who is ready to start living the life they desire.

I am looking forward to meeting each and everyone of you.

Posotive thoughts and abundance to all.

Hello, everyone!  My name is Lisa, and I am a SAHM (for now) to 3 amazing kids (boy-15, girl-14, boy-8) and wife of 21 years to my incredible husband, John.  We have been so blessed in our lives, and God has pulled us through many trials.  Our lives are certainly not perfect, but I like to say that the 5 of us are "works in progress".

I am an aspiring writer, with my ultimate dream being to have a novel published.  I am also an attorney with a background primarily in family law and children's rights issues.  Last but certainly not least, I have a couple of home businesses that I truly enjoy.  I love to read, and have spent the better part of the past year reading inspirational and self-improvement books.  I also like to run, and I am really into holistic health.

This group is perfect for me, because I love sharing inspirational quotes, thoughts and great things that I read.  I also am looking forward to learning from all of you!  I was raised in a very negative home environment and found myself at the age of 40 in a constant state of negativity.  I've since made up my mind to be positive and grateful for each day, and for me, this is something I have to really work at on a daily basis.  I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Hi.  My name is Joy and I have 2 daughters and 6 grandsons.  My life hasn't been very happy lately.  I lost my mom, dad, and husband to cancer and my mil to age all in the last few years.  Depression and ill health have been my constant companions lately and I would dearly like to change that.

Hi, my name is Kim.  I am married, have 3, soon to be 4, children who are absolutely wonderful.  I am a SAHM, but drive a school bus during the school year.  I joined this group because I have always been a negative person, a pessimist, a procrastinator, and have some anger issues.  I am feeling the winds of change starting to blow in my life and need to change.  I want to become the person that I long to be.  Happy, energetic, positive.  A role model to my children and a great wife to my husband.  I am so happy to be here, thankful that I found this group.  I believe that it was meant to start now.  Thank you all for being here and I look forward to meeting everyone.

Hello... My name is Kat, I am very pregnant, and excited!!!  He has already changing my life in so many positive ways, and has made me a healthier, stronger person. For along time I dwelled on the bad things in my life and spent my days feeling sorry for myself.  I have a new outlook on life, and just by changing my attitude, everything around me has improved tremendously! I wake up in the morning smiling... I am Riley's mommy... and I want to be the best mommy I can be! :)
