Well, this is the time that you listen to your mind instead of your heart.  Focus on what you need and want out of this.  Most of us ladies do not want to be second best or played for a fool. I would set some boundaries and explain that all further communication will be specifically around the co-parenting of your child.  If he decides to let his girlfriend go, better his self beliefs, and then attempt to work on things with you....Well, then you have a great reason to consider putting your heart out there for him.

He sounds a bit immature to me... like he knows what upsets you and he does it on purpose. I am sorry you have to deal with this... but he may just be playing with your heart. I would advise ignoring his immaturity and not letting it get to you. Best wishes.

No way, you deserve better than that! You shouldn't let some guy play games with you like that. If he really loves you he wouldn't say one thing and then when he's upset say another. You want someone who is consistent. Even when I'm mad at my husband, or he me, we don't say we wouldn't want to be with each other. You take the good with the bad. You deserve better!
