Ok,  I posted some of this in my intro.  I decided to start a separate thread so I could post pics as I finish the Projects

Atlanta is the home of Dragon Con.  See link here:

http://www.dragoncon.org/

I'm am in the midst of my busiest season making costumes for the Con, which starts in 28 days .  So if you say hi, and I don't get back right away, I'm not being rude.  Here is  what I have on my plate right now:

a Jedi -  Pants, Tunic, belt, & Armor - Cut out

Associate Bob - From Demolition man - Kimono Under Kimono, Obi -  Cut Out

Childlike Empress - Neverending Story - 98% complete

Candy Geisha - Anime Costume 99% complete

Pirate Coat - 100% Complete - I also made a vest to go with the coat.

Pink Victorian Style Dress- for Corwin- if you've ever been to Dragon Con, he's the guy that wears the pink vinyl maid outfit.  -  100% Complete

French Maid outfit - my costume for Big City Burlesque - 100% complete

Pin-up girl Bathing suit 89% complete

Pin up girl Mechanic suit - cut out

Pin Up girl Play Suit - cut out

Thigh High Leather boots- 35% complete

Burlesque Costume  ( Inspired by Eliza Dolittle at the Races)  70% complete - Corset top, Skirt, accessories, trunks.

Burlesque Costume - hand beaded Corset top, Bustle, Trunks 80% complete.

Lab coat for 1 Evil Genius - cut out

Here are pics of what is 100% complete:

Corwins new dress- I made the dress and the coller.  I personally hate this dress because I hate Satin,  it is completley unforgiving.  And I only had 2 days to put it together for him so it made it impossible to work the satin properly.  However,  He is thrilled to death and swears that it's the best dress he's ever owned.  As long as he's happy right?

The Pirate Coat:

This is one of my absolute, most favorite creations.

Some button detail  - there are 52 brass buttons on this coat .

Dig the snazzy lining:

The Pinky Shear Outfit.  I made this for Dragon Con and also to wear while doing my stage hand duties with Big City Burlesque

More updates and pics to follow.

Just an update,  I have 3 more down :

Goth Childlike Empress,  The Candy Geisha,   and Associate Bob are all complete.  Photos to come.

I have made some progress on the Pin Up outfits.  I have reached the 75% point with  the 2 I hadn't started on yet.

I may get this done now that school is back in.

OK folks,

We're down to one week.  and I'm getting soo close,  and yet so very tired.   I'm afraid my frantic costuming has taken the wind from my sails and I won't have as much fun at D*C this year.

Here is my status update on the remaining Costumes:

Pin-up girl Bathing suit -100% complete

Pin up girl Mechanic suit -  100%

Pin Up girl Play Suit  2 - cut out  ( I may have to forego this one)

Thigh High Leather boots- 65% complete

Burlesque Costume  ( Inspired by Eliza Dolittle at the Races) 92 % complete - Dress is Complete, I just need to make the  collar and  hat.

Burlesque Costume - hand beaded Corset top, 90%  the Bustle and trunks are complete the Corset is all that 's left.

Lab coat for 1 Evil Genius - 100% Complete

After all of this I still have to clean up the house I've been neglecting for the past 6 weeks (Normally I wouldn't do this, but I have a sitter coming to stay here while we're gone).  Pack  up all of my the costumes (make sure I have all the correct props, accessories, make-up) , clothes for our 3 D*C attending members.  I also must pack up my 4 year old, who will be gone to grandparents for all 4 days.

On top of that, I'll be putting together a schedule for the stuff we want to do, as well as a schedule, and photo book for the Big City Girls.

I'll be sure and post photos after I have recovered from having a stroke, LOL.   surrender

well, 2 days to go and I'm nearly done.  I 'm going to spend the day beading my corset and then finishing my hat for my Eliza costume.

Yesterday, I made an apron to go with Corwin's dress since he will be in the show with me Saturday night.
