okay, my son is 22 months and HATES brushing his teeth..with a passion. he screams and crys (actual tears come out) at the top of his lungs the whole time im doing it...and because this happens i honestly dont brush his teeth near enough( no bashing) its just soo hard because he gets soo upset, even when i am done he is still upset for awhile. it makes me feel soo bad. whats going on? does he just not like to do it? does it hurt? i dont know what it is. what can i do to help him like to?
and yes i do try and let him do it, but he wants absolutely nothing to do with the tooth brush...its even his favorite character lightning McQueen!
my daughter hated brushing her teeth...she was even that way if we tried letting her do it herself, all she wanted to do was suck the toothpaste off...well anyways, i bought her an electric toothbrush with dora on it and now she loves brushing her teeth. I let her do it then i say its mommy's turn to do it...if she hesitates to let me or my husband do it we tell her that we need to get the "buggies" out that she missed!!!! Hope this helped
