Before I got married I was the responsible girl, who worked , saved money , never wrote a bad check, always had money in the checking and maintained my register for my checking. After I got married, it all went down hill. I have become the person that I never wanted to be. I have become my aunt.
My aunt used to write bad checks and is married to an alcoholic and isn't leaving because of the house. I am married to someone who tries to get away with everything and has brought me down to his level. I used to think things through without rushing into it. Now because of my husband I quit my job (Hey it wasn't great but it was a steady income), I have gotten in debt with the IRS and State Tax of a total of over 3,000 plus we just got a wage garnishment for the state income tax we owe.
I have just today in a discussion with my parents realized I have turned into everything I swore I would never become. I am so lost, I feel like I have let myself down, my mom and dad down, my son down and my dead grandparents whom meant the world to me.
On top of everything, I can't find a job, we are going to be losing my husband's car and we are moving in with my parents on Saturday. Oh lord what have I done????
MY LIFE IS NOTHING LIKE I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE AT THE AGE OF 33!!!!

Wow...that's a lot to handle but do you have anything to be grateful for despite all these circumstances...lot's of people are suffering in this economy with job loss, sickness and uncertainty. Just like you got into debt, you can get out of it...it will take time and effort but it can be done...don't worry about it for now...what's done is done and when you are in a better situation, be it a job or own place, then you can work on taking small steps to pay your debt and get out of the rut you are in...could be a good time to go to school...I wish you well in your endeavors...stay focused and strong and try not to let your situation define who you are.![]()
My life is not what i thought it would be at 31, so you are not alone. A lot of people in the world are in debt in today's economy, so you arent alone in that either! Slow and steady, just pay things off.
wow sorry u are going thru this. look at it from a different view... atleast when u move in with ya parents u will be able to save and start getting your life back together... use this situation as a learning moment..
Always Look at the positive side of every circumstance. The Devil is busy, what he wants you to do is doubt God. Dont lose the faith. Like Marvin Sapp said, "Praise Him In advance". The Song speaks for itself. I live for a God that can make a way out of no way, How about you?![]()
