Ok , so my 2ed son will come into the world on Feb 18th and lately I have been in get everything we need , like NOW mode . So hubby and I went baby shopping a couple of nights ago and bought some clothes and bottles (In case I cant breast feed , I pump and use bottles . My breast are very large and my 1st son could not latch on) and things like baby wash and a brush and things like that . Well , my last breast pump got used alot and worn out , so I bought a new one from Target . $75 bux for a AVENT manual pump (which I used b4 and LOVED) . Picked it up , it was the only one they had left , got it to the check out line and realized that the lil sticker tabs that hold it shut were gone . I asked the girl if I could check it really quick and she assured me that anything like that was thrown away upon return and that someone was prob just looking to see what it looked like or something . So I get it home and the next day I take it out to look at it and it HAD BEEN USED !!! All the parts for the pump were open and there was DRYED BREAST MILK on the inside of the suction cup . *gag* I called the store right away and talked to the manager and he apologized and said that they would replace if or give me a full refund , which is fine , but the fact that I bought something like that is just disgusting !! I cant believe it was even on the shelf !

Ewwww thats digusting. I cant believe that!

I had to return my breastpump last month because I didnt produce. I bought it at babies r us. It was a Medela hands free one and it was like 379 dollars plus tax and the protection plan. And I had to go through HELL to return it. I had to call medela and say it didnt work and they had to send me a new fully closed and sealed box and I had to hassle with the store to try to return it...urgh! It took forever. Was a big hassle. Im surprised they would even put a breast pump with a broken seal on it on the shelf. Thats a big NONO!

Oh , I saw that madela pump and wanted it , but I just cant bring myself to give that kinda money for it ! LOL . Being that it was so pricey , they should have give'n you no problem about returning it !! How crazy is it that you had to call the manufacturer !! I was worried that Target would't take it back , thats why I called right away . There kinda butt heads about taking things back . But the manager was really upset about it (or seemed to be) and said I could bring it back . I almost think that someone had used it in the store (like in the bathroom or something) and put it back on the shelf !! Who dose things like that ?? Thats the only way I can figer that it got there .

I have the medela pump in style i got when my son was born. You arent suppossed to be able to return a used pump for sanitary reasons even if you dont produce you cant return it if the seals are broken
