Feeling unwanted during late pregnancy....

I know it's a touchy subject, and in the rules it states no graphic detail about sex but I have a quick question. Has anyone else run into the instance of their S.O. not wanting to have a physical relationship during the last trimester of pregnancy? My husband is freaked out by it, and it makes me feel extremly unwanted. Almost to the point of depression. I don't even want to be looked at by him after he told me how he felt about it. Is this normal? Anyone else have this?

It's normal for guys to get freaked out about a physical relationship that late in the pregnancy. Most think they will hurt the baby by being intimate. Try cuddling with him and let him know its perfectly safe for the baby for you two to be intimate. As long as your doc says its ok

totally and completely normal especially with first time daddies and in reality some OB/GYN have actually recommended sex to induce labor and at 37 weeks you can pop at any moment safely.  I am sure he definitely thinks he is going to poke the baby.  I was a total hornaball during my pregnancies, so I know how you feel but it really can be a hazard during the last trimester.

He hasn't really expressed why he doesn't want to be intimate, just that it's "weird".

I'm sorry. I heard it's normal but have never personally dealt with it. I hope he comes around.
