i had gallbladder surgery last monday and my dr said i could take my steri strips off yesterday BUT they r stuck like super glue if any of you have any advice on helping me getting them off plz let me know even if something over the counter would work ill try it thanks again oh also can you take a bath with them on or only showers? also is it going to hurt my insions if im leaving them on longer thanks again

No they should hurt you if they stay on longer but if your doctor says it's ok to take a shower then that would be your best bet of getting them off sometimes you just have to let them fall off on their own instead of ripping them off. And showers are best women shouldn't sit in bath water it can cause UTIs and other fungus issues down there.

Steri strips fall off on there own. You can shower and was the incision pat it dry. They will start to peel off on their own but it can take a while for them to do so. No baths til the incision is healed, stagnant water tends to harbor bacteria. Trust me I'm a nurse.
