My hubby and I are having our first baby together. We found out last week that we are having a baby boy. We only could come up with girl names since I got pregnant. He has a 5 year old son from a previous relationship. His name is Damien Quincy.

My hubby asked me what I thought about:

Raymen Micheal.

our last name is Diaz. My husband is Puerto Rican. How do you like it? It's growing on me... but not sure. If you can think of any other names that sound really good, and that have somewhat of a spanish origin let me know. Open to all suggestions... thanks.

He'll be in for a lifetime of having to spell each one over and over. How about good old, strong, independent.....JACK?

I like it alot, we named our son Isaac Dylan which isnt exactly Peurto Rican or anything.  Yeah he may have to spell it alot but i do too and my name is really common, Sarah!

What about Jaivan? I found that on a website for Puerto Rican names.

I'm not a big fan of it. As far as Puerto Rican names go, I like : Cruz, Jaivan, and Romano

Jaivan is  pronounced a lot of ways. Here are the ones I've heard:

Jay-Van

Jay-Vin

YaY-Van

i think we are gonna stick with:

Raymen

Raimen

Raemen

Raimon

with the middle name Micheal. But we cant decided on the spelling.

The way I would pronounce Jaivan is Hay-vin or Hay-vun. As far as sticking with Raymen, I like it spelled Raimon the best, or possibly Raymon. JMO. Good Luck with your decision!
