I have a chance at getting Cream Cheese at a stock up price this week.  We don't use it often though.  Does anyone have any experience with freezing it?  How long does it keep in the Fridge?  Whether or not it will keep well will decide how much I get.

I kinda understood you can't freeze it (but I don't know for sure).  It does have a pretty long shelf life in your fridge.  When you buy it, check for which one has the furthest out "use by" date.  They are usually in the back of the refrigerated section if the employee is doing his job right. ;)

Good to know.  I know butter freezes nicely and cheese freezes OK (tends to crumble and not grate, but tastes just fine)

I'll have to freeze some. :o)
