Looking for Thai Jasmine rice. Any Asian Grocery stores in Utah or Idaho?
We're out of our stash of Thailand Jasmine rice, and we're looking for another source. The last batch we bought was from an Asian Grocery in Nevada, but we don't have plans to head down there anytime soon. We've been buying smaller packs of Jasmine rice from WalMart, but I know we can buy it in bulk for a lot cheaper.
Does anyone have the names/locations of Asian Groceries in Idaho or Utah they can share?
Thanks!
I get mine in a 50lbs bag from Sam's. Don't know if this is Thai jasmine rice but it is jasmine rice. I also get my Balsami rice there also.
I've seen Winco mentioned several times on this site but I've never been to one. What's so special about it? Do they carry products other stores don't? Specialize in organic or bulk or ??? Just curious, because there isn't one anywhere near me, but I would make the trip if I knew why it was worth it.

They are a large grocery store that carries lots of items and they have a big bulk section that you can pretty much find everything in. They are located, that I know of, in Washington, Idaho, California, Oregon and I think in Utah. You have to bag your own things and they don't take credit cards.
I found them online here, with a list of their locations:

And they even have their store layout online! Here is the Idaho Falls store:

Check out the "bulk" shelves on the right side of the store.
Great tip... I'll be stopping by on my way through next month!

I know costco had a hymilan (can't remember how to spell it) rice for a decent price considering. I know this rice is good. has anyone tried of or heard of black rice???
