I never really thought about it till now but I'm wondering... Both my CFers where born at 34 weeks. I was told it might have something to due with the CF and I always wondered. P.S. my youngest was diagnosed before my oldest CFer.

My doctor started me on my due date, so he probably would have been late..

my water broke because I had too much fluid and it just burst because it couldn't hold anymore. They said it was because he wasn't doing the input output procees right. So they had to induce me because my water broke.

MY CF son was born 3 weeks early, but he wasn't diagnosed until he was 4 1/2.

My CF son was diagnosed prenatally...I was about 6 months pregnant, and he was born at 37 weeks weighing 5.4 lbs.

DD was born shortly before 39wks because of low amniotic fluid.
