Hello, I'm new here. I have a 8 month old son. And he is being tested for CF. I took him into his pediatrician because he was sweating one night, with a bad odor and they wanted to check him over, and she said that she thought it could be CF, because he is below the 5th percentile in his weight, and she is concerned about it. He is 8 months old and still wears 0-3 month old clothes, so i was wondering if anyone here could tell me what the chance are that it is CF?

Good luck to you. The great news is if he does have CF, things have come so far in so few years. Having great doctors and being proactive in your child's care is the most important things you can do. My daughter went two years coughing before finally being diagnosed correctly. It was actually a relief to know what we were dealing with. It's a lot of work, but I'm sure you can handle it.
