We saw the cf dr on Tuesday and he suggested when she is sick we either do a sinus rinse or put saline drops in her nose and suction it out, whichever is easiest at this age for us. The rinse was a horrible disaster so I'm going with the suctioning. Only thing is the bulb doesn't seem to get much out. Is there a trick to this or is there something better to use?
We do the sinus rinse as it gets more out. My husband has to hold my son (he's 3), and I do the rinse on him...we do it in the bath tub so it doesn't make a mess all over the floor! Sorry mama!
Maybe I will try that. I tried just doing it with her sitting on my lap with a towel and she hated it so much she got up and ran away. Is he scared to take a bath since that's where you do it?

Great! I will try this!

Nope! He loves the bath! We just let him play for a while after the rinse!
