Nighttime Wets - Need Advice on Regression

Over the long weekend in January, I started to potty train my 2.5 year old son via the three day method. He took to it very quickly and the following week, I took away the diapers during nap time and bedtime, as he was waking up to pee and wasn't having an accidents. For two weeks, things continued smoothly and he didn't have any accidents during nap time or bedtime.

But now, for the past three nights, he has wet through at night even though he pees before bed and I limit his consumption of liquids before bed.

What should I do? Do I put diapers or pullups on him when he goes to bed, until he starts to wake up dry? He is doing awesome during the day (no accidents) but need to figure out night time solution.

Any advice?

Can you wake him before you go to bed and have him use the toilet then?

Honestly, at that age, I would just put him in a pullup at night so he could get a good nights sleep in. They eventually outgrow peeing while they are asleep on their own.

yep - I would try a diaper overnight - he may just phase right out of it again.  Or you could try waking him too.  Whatever seems to work for your family is absolutely ok!
