My son will be 4 in june and i've tried everything! i've been through 2 different types of potties, a potty at me'me's and great grandma's. a toliet potty insert, i carry a foldable potty chair for public rest rooms. and he is just now these last few days been saying at the store or resturaunt he has to pee. but when we get home it's a whole different story. he's lazy and won't take the time to use his potty. i have even moved his potty so he can see the t.v. i have bribed him, rewarded him and praised him! he wont use the potty to go bathroom bathroom. he hides and dirties his pull ups. i've tried using underwear and telling him he has to use potty that he can't go in his underwear, that don't work! i've run out of ideas i need some good advice!

yes i believe he knows i try to wait about 10 to 15 min after he drinks alot and put him on the potty but he still goes in his pull up and when he has to poop he hides or gets real quiet and if i can catch him before he goes he will hold it so he doesn't use the potty.

that's awesome he's going when he's out of the house!  we started at home with bare bottom - it's hard for them to ignore or hide it when the actually see the pee coming out. it's like AHA!
